SEND Reforms
From September 2014, schools, colleges, early years providers, local authorities, parents, young people, SEN-sector organisations, unions and health providers in England must provide for those with special educational needs under part 3 of the Children and Families Act 2014.

- Many local authorities rely on the CReSTeD register – which is published annually – to inform their financial decisions about funding a placement for dyslexia.
- The code of practice issued jointly by the Departments for Education and Health can be downloaded/viewed here.
- The Dyslexia-SpLD Trust have written a range of guidance notes on the SEN reforms, covering every aspect. Parents might be particularly interested in "School Responsibilities".
